Welding
Course provides students the basic welding skills for:
Stick welding | Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
MIG (metal, inert gas) | Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
TIG (tungsten, inert gas) | Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW)
This course provides students with the basic skills needed to work with Stick, MIG, or TIG Welders. This is a hands-on course taught by industry experienced faculty.
Students will learn:
- Safe working procedures
- Types of metals and gauges
- Types of welds
- Short course designed for hobbyists and professional welders looking to enhance their skills or obtain a welding certification
